Kirkliston Primary School Parent Council is known as the Kirkliston Primary School Association (KPSA) and was formed in 2007 as a result of Scotland’s Parental Involvement Act 2006. Every parent and carer with a child attending Kirkliston Primary School is automatically a member of the school’s parent forum. Each year, parents from the forum are elected to become members of the KPSA.
As your Parent Council, the KPSA represents all parents and carers of the school. The work of the KPSA can be summarised into the following broad areas:
- Supporting the school in its work with pupils
- Organising Fundraising Events / Funding projects and equipment
- Representing parents views on school issues
- Liaising with the wider community and the city council
Further information about the KPSA will be available in the near future via this page.
If you have any questions, suggestions or issues for the KPSA, you can either speak directly to one of the KPSA members or you can use the online enquiry form on this website.
We also have a suggestion form and box in the school reception area.
