Assembly

P3A presented a wonderful Scottish Assembly today. They shared Scottish songs, poems and vocabulary including fankle, muckle and stoor. Do you know what they mean?

P1 and P2 talked about playground games and playground safety. They also listened to the story of the Rainbow Fish which reminded us of the school values Ready, Respectful and Responsible.

Benmore

The P7s are all set for an adventurous week at Benmore. Just a reminder that they should meet at the Leisure Centre at 9:30am on Monday and parents are welcome to stay and wave them off at 10am. They will also need a packed lunch for the journey. Look out for the Benmore Blog next week, which I will be updating daily.

Active Schools

The Active Schools Booking are now closed, and clubs will start next week.

Health and Safety

To ensure the Health and Safety of the whole school community please adhere to these reminders:

Please keep at least 2 metres back from class lines in the morning to ensure all parents can see their child/ children.
Entry to the school building should be through the main entrance only and all visitors must sign in before moving through the school or entering the Pods. Parents/carers are not permitted to move beyond the foyer area unless accompanied or directed by a member of staff. Visitor stickers must be worn.
Any pupils using the playground before/ after the school day are the responsibility of their parents/guardians. We would advise close supervision at these times.
Scooters and bikes should not be ridden in the playground. Please remind children, and adults, to push them until they leave the school grounds.
Please ensure gates are kept shut at all times.
